Oh dear, I’m sorry to hear that Sybil. Brrrr… Flat Kathy still wants me to take her to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, so I’ll post some more pictures of flowers then. Hopefully it’ll cheer you up a bit. π
Yes, I agree! We have had some very hot days (over 30 degrees celsius), but also a couple of days of rain – like today. It’s typical late-summer / early-autumn weather. Cape Town is famous for having four seasons in a day!
Hello and greetings Reggie,
I haven’t been around for a while because I didn’t get notices that you’d started writing again. So lovely to see your photos – the flowers are all lovely and I really love the photo of the cat.
Oh what a tonic for the eyes to look at your flowers. The rain has turned to snow here. I am not a happy camper …

Thanks for such beauty
You’re welcome, Bobz! π
Still summer down around you?! And a morning like this looks wonderful π

Pretty flowers, but they are upstaged by the spec-cat-ular patchwork puddy tat!
Tuffy-Cat replies: “Why thank you, Colonialist, you are clearly a cat-lover!”
Guilty as charged.
