Or, in English, “the buzzing of the bees”.

Today was the first morning in 7 days that the sky was blue (well, -ish) and the Sun God actually bothered to get out of bed.

Yahoo! No more SAD! (I was a bit alarmed to read that around 20% of Irish people – more women than men – experience SAD, based on a recent 2007 survey. I guess there go my fantasies of moving north…)

It’s remarkable how sunshine can lift one’s spirits. Even the bees on the traffic island in the centre of our road were busy-busy-busy, zooming from one flower to the next, collecting pollen and sipping nectar.

I have never paid such close attention to bees before! Usually I run a mile the other way. 😉
